Wilshire Law Firm Files Nationwide Class Action Lawsuit against Health Insurance Provider Aetna

LOS ANGELES, CA. Feb. 13, 2018 — On Tuesday, February 13, 2018, attorneys Bobby Saadian and Colin Jones of Wilshire Law Firm filed a proposed, nationwide class action lawsuit against Aetna Inc. and its subsidiaries, on behalf of their client Nichol Lundin. If the class action is certified, patients who have been negatively affected by Aetna’s deceptive business practices will also be represented. The complaint alleges breach of implied contract, violation of California’s unfair competition law, breach of the duty of good faith and fair dealing; unlawful, fraudulent and deceptive business practices. Aetna breached the contract with its clients, when it denied coverage to patients in need of treatment, on the basis of lack of medical necessity, without a proper assessment by a physician. The company had a duty to provide coverage for treatments related to the terms of the health plan agreement. Instead, Aetna denied claims, contradicting health records and company policies. Millions of individuals use Aetna as their health insurance provider and didn’t know about the company’s breach of contract. Aetna’s misconduct is fueled by not wanting to pay for much-needed medical treatments. As a result of the company’s improper denials, and lack of physicians reviewing patients’ files and records, customers have suffered damages and losses. Wilshire Law Firm Attorneys Offer Statement on Apple’s Apology for Slowing Down Older iPhones

LOS ANGELES, CA. Dec. 29, 2017 — Bobby Saadian and Colin Jones, the Wilshire Law Firm attorneys representing Stefan Bogdanovich and Dakota Speas against Apple Inc., offered a joint statement, after Apple apologized for slowing down older iPhones and said it would reduce the price of a battery replacement from $79 to $29 through December 2018. “$29 for a new battery? Tell that to the millions of iPhone users who already spent $1000 on a new device. Apple isn’t fooling anyone when they say the software updates were to save battery life. The only thing Apple was considering was improving their bottom line,” said Colin Jones, Esq., Partner. The proposed class action has received worldwide attention. Wilshire Law Firm’s Founding President and Managing Attorney, Bobby Saadian, stated, “Apple is a global brand. They should know better. Apple should’ve asked for the consumers’ consent before slowing down older iPhones, deliberately.” Plaintiffs, Stefan Bogdanovich and Dakota Speas, expressed their opinion on Apple’s slowdowns. “We had long suspected that Apple was purposefully slowing down our iPhones. We bought Apple’s smartphones in part, because they were able to run applications quickly. That is part of what we bargained for. When Apple admitted to this secret practice, it was clear we needed to take legal action. It’s outrageous that they purposefully slowed down our iPhones, without our consent. Going forward, we hope to vindicate the rights of all iPhone owners.” Apple products are widely popular and consumers have made iPhones part of their lifestyle. Apple’s explanation for its deliberate slowdowns of older iPhone models isn’t enough for people, who felt they had to spend more money to purchase newer models. Echoing the consumers’ sentiment, Colin Jones added, “What Apple is doing is simply not fair to iPhones users. People who save their hard-earned money to buy an iPhone deserve a device that works, and not just until the newest model comes out.” Notes: Here you can find out about 5GE by AT&T: Compensation for Misled Customers. Wilshire Law Firm Files Lawsuit against Apple for Slowing Down Older iPhones

LOS ANGELES, CA. Dec. 22, 2017 — On Thursday, December 21, 2017 Bobby Saadian and Colin Jones of Wilshire Law Firm filed a nationwide, proposed class action against Apple Inc., on behalf of their clients Stefan Bogdanovich and Dakota Speas. Consumers who have owned iPhone models prior to the iPhone 8 are also represented. The complaint alleges that Apple never requested consent from Plaintiffs to slow down their iPhones; that Plaintiffs were never given the option to choose, whether they preferred their iPhones slower than normal; and that, as a result of Apple’s intentional slowdowns, Plaintiffs suffered interferences to the usage of their device and economic damages, for which they’re now seeking compensation, along with all similarly situated individuals. The proposed class action has received national and international attention. Apple’s announcement, however, didn’t surprise many iPhone owners who, reportedly have been suspicious, for years, of the reason for their devices’ irregular performance. Consumers buy the global brand’s products, because they thought Apple could be trusted. Yet Apple admitted to slowing down older iPhone models, and offered a less-than-sufficient explanation regarding the technical process, which the tech giant claims is behind the deliberate slowdowns. Senior trial attorney and Wilshire Law Firm Partner, Colin Jones, told the media, “What Apple is doing is simple not fair to iPhones users and is a betrayal of their trust. Consumers who save their hard-earned money to buy an iPhone deserve a device that works, and not just until the newest model comes out.” Wilshire Law Firm was founded in 2007 by Bobby Saadian, Esq. Wilshire Law Firm Files Lawsuit against Los Angeles Unified School District for Sexual Assault of Two Minors

LOS ANGELES, CA. Dec. 18, 2017 — On Monday, October 9, 2017, Bobby Saadian and Jon Teller of Wilshire Law Firm filed a lawsuit in the superior court, on behalf of their clients (two female minors), against Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). The complaint alleges that LAUSD acted negligently, when hiring and retaining an employee of the Harry Bridges Span School; LAUSD failed to educate, train, warn and supervise the school’s employee. The complaint also cites sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, breach of fiduciary duty and negligence, among other theories of liability. LAUSD refused to produce the name of the employee in question, at the time the Wilshire Law Firm personal injury attorneys filed the lawsuit. The two elementary students, whose identities are protected under government codes, allege that the employee, a nurse at the Harry Bridges Span School, molested them when they went to the nurse’s office to seek treatment. The victims described incidents, in which the male nurse took them into a small room, closed the door and kept them in there for an unreasonable long period of time, touching them inappropriately. The plaintiffs believe that other faculty members at the school and the District knew, or should have known, about the nurse’s inappropriate behavior with the students. The proposed lawsuit has been filed to put an end to LAUSD’s negligent practices and to raise awareness about incidents of sexual assault. According to the complaint, the school nurse used his position of authority to abuse the minors’ trust; the school and the District had a duty to protect the students from the employee’s inappropriate conduct; but both acted negligently by ignoring the alleged offenses. The Wilshire Law Firm personal injury lawyers are, also, representing another victim of sexual assault against rapper Todd Anthony Shaw, most commonly known by his stage name Too $hort. Wilshire Law Firm was founded in 2007 by Bobby Saadian, Esq. The firm represents victims of sexual assault, catastrophic accidents, environmental contamination, dangerous pharmaceuticals and defective products, against insurance companies and big business. The firm also fights for employee rights and equality in the workplace. For more information visit </>
