Michael Matta, Esq.
Michael Matta, Esq. is an associate member of Wilshire Law Firm’s labor and employment department. A former Wilshire Law Firm employment law clerk, Michael and the firm’s other labor and employment attorneys devise sophisticated legal solutions that protect workers who have been harmed by employers.
A knowledgeable, insightful advocate on behalf of wronged employees, Michael’s impressive legal background includes experiences with the Los Angeles LGBT Center, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, Nixon Peabody LLP, and the Inner City Law Center here in Los Angeles.
Prior to joining Wilshire Law Firm, Michael served as a law clerk with the office of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), where he worked to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable employees. It was here that Michael developed the empathetic, individualized approach he brings to every case.
Michael received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he engaged extensively in out-of-class experiences to broaden his leadership capabilities—including serving as a student ambassador and orientation staffer. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles – School of Law.
