Megan Lazar, Esq. is an associate attorney in the talented personal injury department at Wilshire Law Firm. A dedicated advocate for Catastrophic Injury, Motor Vehicle Accident, and Wrongful Death victims and their families, Megan’s first goal in any case is securing the absolute best result for her clients.
Megan’s considerable legal experience has seen her assist several diverse populations of vulnerable people. While attending Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, Megan served as a legal extern for the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Immigration Legal Assistance Project, providing legal advice to U.S. citizens, immigrants, and aliens seeking immigration benefits.
Additionally, Megan externed for the Civil Rights Enforcement Section of the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General. While there, Megan: researched police practices and state/federal investigations of police misconduct; prepared memoranda to identify civil rights violations associated with police officer use of force; and furthered her commitment to representing victims in need.
Megan earned her bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University before receiving her Juris Doctor as part of Southwestern Law School’s SCALE Two-Year Accelerated J.D. program. While attending Southwestern, Megan participated in the Public Service Program.
